Shurine Pate

Hello, I am putting on a benefit dinner and silent auction in March (24th starting at 5pm) for a local nurse and marine veteran, Dennis Engle, who currently still works at the VA hospital in Prescott. We are having difficulty selling tickets to the dinner, and would appreciate any support or suggestions you could give on selling some tickets. Please call me with any questions 928-277-4622. There is more information on my Facebook page Shurine Pate or Pate Complete Healthcare.

Anthony Romero

I am a retired veteran in Phoenix, AZ. I can't find anyone to help me with the VA. The AZDVS only filed my claim. I haven't heard from them since they denied my claim, so obviously they don't want to do an appeal. I have a mountain of VA documents which I don't understand what they are saying which actually are very contradictory. I can't find anyone in Phoenix, AZ to help me understand these docouments and how I can do an appeal. None of this makes sense. I know veterans litterally running around (police officers) rated at 100% and my claims were denied. All the research I've seen is only for suicidal and homeless vets. Can anyone make this make sense?

Dr Steve Kaplan

Dr. Steve Kaplan is a Naturopathic Doctor and his clinic is just a block from VA Hospital.
He would like to seek your assistance to support those veterans who need health care urgently.

Our service men didn't ask how much it would cost when they went into battle. We should not ask how much it costs to help them recover physically, mentally, and emotionally. We need to stand up and help with PTSD. Naturopathic doctors have techniques and natural medicines that can help. Isn't it about time congress recognizes us in the federal registry before another suicide from our brave, soldiers, marines, sailors, and airmen suffer the ultimate wound?

Here is one of my favorite songs, "A walk in the Light Green" by John Shumann of Redgum. I hope you are inspired to write your congressman to do the right thing for our veterans.

Thank you
